Project Proposed by Capital 3 limited

Agric Combo for Student and Graduate Enterprise Nigeria

An initiative of Capital 3 Limited in partnership with Students Enterprise Fund, a fund under IPCentre. Agric Combo was created as an empowerment programme for Nigerian students and graduates to achieve the country’s food security and earn income, thus making the future of our youths secure, useful to themselves, to Nigeria, and the world at large.
Objectives of Agric Combo:
– Empower unemployed graduates and prepare Nigerian students in tertiary institutions as future entrepreneurs through practical approaches using agriculture.
– Utilise both organic and inorganic farming as tools for empowerment.
– Cater to unemployed skilled graduates, undergraduates, and unskilled members of society. Dual Purposes:
– Assist the country in achieving food security.
– Support the government’s export-driven economic policy.
– Re-orientate the youth on the importance of being enterprising.
Historical Partnership:
On Wednesday, September 4th, 2013, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and Capital 3 Limited. Described as “historical and a landmark,” by Dr. Kenton Dashiell, the Deputy Director-General, Partnerships and Capacity Development of IITA, this MoU marks the first of its kind in the history of Africa and IITA.
Dr. Dashiell’s Insight:
Dr. Dashiell emphasised the visionary aspect of the MoU, likening it to “dreams” and stressed that only through hard work and actions, with full support from IITA and other local and foreign organisations, could Agric Combo become a reality.
